3. What's Next? The Dawn of Your New Life Starts Here

Cheesy image yes, but imagine the feeling when you look back in 5 years and realise that you've left that old life behind. Trust me, it feels good..being somewhat "off the grid" and out of the rat race.

Now imagine the feeling if you look back in 5 years and you didn't make any changes. You are still in the same job, or still looking for a new one whilst all that time you could have been slowly (or quickly) building a sustainable, online, and offline business.

I am being genuine when I say I get a kick out of helping people so here are some tips for you regardless of whether you decide to join us or not.

I'm not joining My Net Prophet

That's not a problem. If the time isn't right for you I completely understand so here are some tips for other actions you can take.

Your current job

If your current job is getting you down, ask yourself why.

Is it you? Do you feel the need for change or are you bored? Maybe you have been in that position for a while and there is still no sign of promotion or progression? Perhaps you have outgrown it and need new challenges?

The "knee-jerk" reaction would be to look for another job but you can't guarantee that you won't be in the same position in 5 years. If you are close to leaving anyway, you have nothing to lose by taking a different approach...

Speak with your boss, or if they are the problem, go a stage higher. Tell them how you feel and be honest. Say you like working for and respect the company and would prefer to stay but feel that you need new challenges in your career.

They will more than likely appreciate your honesty and hopefully offer some guidance. On rare occasions they may take umbrage with your approach but what the hell, you were thinking of leaving anyway right?

The moral of the story above is when the shit hits the fan, there are always alternatives. Whether that is within the same company, business or elsewhere, it is important to weight up all options before doing anything rash.

Look for a new job

Another option is to look for a new job. The only trouble with that is right now may not be the best time. Don't get me wrong, my wife found the best and highest paying job she's had right in the middle of the Coronavirus pandemic but that is quite rare.

If you do start looking, think about what you really want. Do you want to stay in the same field or niche or do you want to make this an opportunity to try something new. You only live once!

As mentioned elsewhere, Forbes estimate that people will be spending $1 billion A DAY on self education by 2025 so think about that. You can either learn something new yourself thereby making yourself more "employable" and valuable or you can use that knowledge to start a business.

You can even learn skills to enable you to teach other people in the field you already know a lot about whether that is within another company or your own business! Life can be tough but there are ALWAYS opportunities.

Learn new skills!

If you decide to go the route of learning a new skill, make sure it has "legs". I mean that in regard to both longevity of the idea, current trends or a new business as well as with any potential new career.

If the job promotion you are after requires a new skill set, look into what you need to do to obtain those skills.

You may even find that once you have those skills, you could actually make more money and have a better work/life balance by working for yourself.

I can't afford it!

Ok. Three things I have learned in life are:

I wanted to price our courses so that in the first instance, it would be affordable for a lot of people regardless of circumstances in the world right now. Just FYI, I paid £1700 for a course in 2019 and my wife and I have spent thousands on business advancement and property investment courses recently.

Secondly, the price is also just high enough to encourage people to actually take action for the investment they have made. This combination has been proven to get the best results from the most people IMO.

Earn it back

Once a significant number of people have been through the courses, I plan to implement a generous affiliate program for My Net Prophet. That means you will be able to take the new skills you have learned, promote MNP and earn your first affiliate commissions that way if you wish. 

I estimate that just 2-4 sales commissions will pay for everything you would have invested in yourself. 

Choices

You now have a number of choices moving forward:

There is nothing wrong with always keeping your eyes peeled for an opportunity. I have done the same all my life and jumped aboard a few. Most have actually led to either a successful period in my life or opened new doors I never would have found otherwise. Don't stand still.
